Bio Image Advanced Quantifier (AQ)

The Advanced Quantifier (AQ) software allows users to analyze protein or DNA samples run in one dimensional separations. It sutomatically detects the lanes, then finds and quantifies the bands even if it is irregularly shaped bands such as biphasic, smiling or saturated bands.

Features

The AQ enable its users to specify, save and load user preference (e.g. image annotation, report configurations, band-finding and matching parameters. It use the known size standards to automatically adjust for gel smiling and calculate sizes outside the range of your knowns. It is also able to analyze data with its powerful data management and database capabilities. With these capabilities, users are able to create and search databases; and compare band patterns across large populations. Besides band patterns, the AQ is able to compare fingerprints within a single sample or across thousands of samples. It is able to build DNA, RNA or protein-based taxonomy studies, build similarity dendograms and make genomic identifications.

Fully User Customizable

The AQ comes with an illustrator tool for user to add text comments, arrows, boxes,circles, header and footer information fields onto an image. Report generation of AQ is powerful and simple as it can generate fully customizable reports easily. Users are able to define the analysis annotation colors and composition. All AQ comes with comprehensive User's manual and on-line Help support.

The Advanced Quantifier is ideal for users that do not require compliance with 21 CFR Part 11.
